Two in critical condition following three-story fire in downtown area Saturday afternoon
Firefighters brought the fire under control shortly before 8pm.

The Harvey Fire Department responded to a three-alarm apartment fire on 154th Street and Broadway Avenue Saturday afternoon.
Three people were injured as a result of the fire, which began shortly before 5pm.
Two people were transported to the hospital in critical condition. A Harvey police officer was injured attempting to rescue a person who jumped from the third floor.
There were no fatalities, according to a city spokesperson.
Responders from other fire departments in the area assisted, bringing the fire under control shortly before 8pm.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown and is under investigation.
