Alexis “Ace Almighty” Patton is a Chicago Heights native and entertainment journalist currently studying Journalism at DePaul University. A graduate of Homewood-Flossmoor High School and Harold Washington College, her
work focuses on entertainment, music, and culture, with a particular interest in Black voices and Black American culture.

As part of that work, she has interviewed artists including G Herbo, Lil Bibby, Young Scooter, and Katie Got Bandz, using those conversations to help tell the stories behind the music and the culture that surrounds it. When she’s not reporting, she enjoys spending time with her cats and keeping up with the music, entertainment, and cultural moments that inspire her work.
