Thornton assistant principal Charissa Berrini passes away, TTHS D205 announces
Charissa Berrini worked at Thornton Township High School in Harvey, but passed the district said on social media.
Thornton Township High School assistant principal Charissa Berrini has passed away, Thornton Township High Schools District 205 announced Monday.
“Her warmth, dedication, and unwavering commitment to our school community leave a legacy that will not be forgotten,” the district announced on its official Facebook page.
“Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and the entire Thornton Township High School and District 205 communities during this time of loss.”
Berrini was the sister of Fred Bilotto, math teacher at Thornwood High School and Blue Island mayor. She was also the sister-in-law of Stephanie Bilotto, assistant to the district superintendent.
